HON. SYD VASQUEZ together with DTI personally conduct dialogue at Bacnotan Cement Factory in Bacnotan, La Union was sent by Hon. Sec. Jose Conception Jr. of the DTI to seek explanation behind the shortage of cement and give priority to Abra Road Construction Projects.



HON. SYD VASQUEZ actual inspection of the output capacity per day at Bacnotan Cement Factory together with DTI Abra and DTI Regional Office. As a result Abra's road projects was given priority. It also resulted to a CLOSURE of one Lumber and hardware because of DTI Violation.

NURSERIES OF FRUIT BEARING TREES ESTALISHED BY HON. SYD VASQUEZ TO SUPPORT HIS ORDINANCE

HON. SYD VASQUEZ set-up Nurseries Province wide in support to his Provincial Ordinance on Applicants for Marriange license must first secure a Barangay Certification that said applicants have planted at least 8 fruit bearing trees prior to issuance of a Marriage license. It is not only the Environment which will be benefited out of this Provincial Ordinance but the couples as well since said fruit bearing trees will start bearing fruits after 5 years and their children will then start schooling and of course the proceeds from their sale of said fruits will help them financially.

MANGO BUYING STATIONS

HON. SYD VASQUEZ conducts caliberation of Weighing Scales Trading Center at every start of the year. To all Tobacco Trading Centers as well as MANGO BUYING STATION to protect Abrenian Farmers in cooperation of PSTO-POST-Abra and the Bangued Municipal Treasurer's Office.



HON. SYD VASQUEZ during his regular inspection of weighing scales prior to start of Tobacco season as well as Mango Buying season in order to protect Abrenian Farmers.



HON. SYD VASQUEZ regularly conduct Caliberation of Weighing Scales with PSTO-DOST Abra and the Office of the Municipal Treasurer as a Safety measure for Abrenian Farmers in order to get the right value of their produced.



HON. SYD VASQUEZ makes sure that every Mango Buying Stations as well as Tobacco Trading Centers must first have their weighing scales caliberated before they start buying Virginia Leaf Tobaccos and so with Mango Buying Stations.
